About Us

The Périgord Lawn Bowls Club is set in the grounds of La Charrue on the D939 between Vieux Mareuil and Monsec in the Parc Naturel du Périgord / Limousin in the Department of Dordogne, France. (See the location map under Club Information)

The green was constructed during 2005 / 2006 and is the only full size flat bowls green in France, comprising of 6 rinks, we opened for our first season in May 2007. It’s a great place to meet people and participate in friendly competition and social events. We have planned all kinds of games this season for people at all skill levels. Mixed events offer men and women the opportunity to compete in a fun and relaxed environment. There is no better place to be on a gorgeous summer day or a cool summer evening.

Bowls is simple to learn but it will keep you hooked whilst you strive for mastery.
